00Manuel Neuer
00Arjen Robben Top of the Match
The flying Dutchman was in excellent form once again, netting the third of Bayern's goals to ensure that the game was beyond the Red Devils. Provided the assist for Muller's clever finish.
00Mario Götze
The former Dortmund man was lively and pushed into the penalty area as often as possible, but didn't try his luck from range himself.
01Toni Kroos
Didn't hit the target from range, but held the central midfield position, allowing for Gotze and Muller to push on. Showed his passing range once again.
00Mario Mandzukic
Netted the first of Bayern's goals, turning home an excellent header, escaping the challenge of Evra to nod past De Gea. An aerial threat throughout.
00Thomas Müller
Scored Bayern's second with an instinctive flick of a finish and looked to press into the box to challenge aerially whenever he could.
Substitutions
00Rafinha
Gave Robben plenty of ammunition and saw a long-range strike unfortunately blocked late on.
00Claudio Pizarro
Had one chance after coming on, firing a shot straight at De Gea on the turn.
00David de Gea
Had little to do apart from pick the ball out of his net three times. The Spanish goalkeeper made a few comfortable, routine saves, but that was all.
00Patrice Evra
The left-back scored an excellent opener for United, firing a thunderbolt off the underside of the crossbar, but was arguably at fault for all of Bayern's goals.
00Phil Jones
Dealt with Ribery very well in the first half and put in some excellent defensive headers, he just couldn't contend with Ribery for the full 90 minutes.
00Chris Smalling
The former Fulham man was a colossus in the centre of defence, winning plenty of headers and denying Bayern from winning by a greater margin.
00Nemanja Vidic
Made two important blocks, but the Serbian defender was otherwise in the shadow of his young defensive counterpart.
00Michael Carrick
Offered nothing going forward, but the defensive midfielder sat in well, making in compact in front of the travelling defence and picked out a few well-hit long passes.
00Darren Fletcher
Usually key for control and calm, the Scotland international didn't see a great deal of possession and struggled with the pace of the game.
00Antonio Valencia
Broke well down the right whenever he could, turning home a disallowed finish in the first half. As the game progressed, he sat deeper and deeper.
00Wayne Rooney Flop of the Match
Spurned two excellent chances for the away side, failing to convert what would have been vital goals. Didn't look very fit, but still should have been on the scoresheet.
00Danny Welbeck
Plenty of running from the England international, who looked exhausted after coming off. Had no chances, but worried the Bayern central defence with his movement.
00Shinji Kagawa
Threaded through some good passes in the first half, inviting Evra to get forward down the left hand side, but faded after the break.
Substitutions
00Adnan Januzaj
Could do nothing but continue Welbeck's workrate, though the teenager didn't have enough time to make an impact.
00Javier 'Chicharito' Hernandez
Didn't have any opportunities to try his luck, as Moyes made a gamble by replacing Fletcher with the Mexico international.
